Above is my own poorly drawn aniamtion character which i have dubbed Smilley the fabouloues
I created him first on a ruff piece of paper and then created him on flash he looks terrible but at least he is my own creation.

Shape tween

but this time I learnt how to do a shape tween and below is the steps I did

I followed the tutorial step by step and my end result is below

Summary - It was very simple to follow the steps and so in this lesson i done a shape tween it wasent anything that advanced but still good to learn more and more things.

Above is the part of the tutorial I have followed to create a motion tween which is shown below

above is a motion tween animation the motion tween that I chose to do is move Homer Simpsons head I took the image from google and placed into flash traced over the outline ff the body then cut that out so it just left the head and followed the tutorial from the start to finish to create a motion tween.

To summarise this lesson i completed the motion tween and coloured most of him in because i learnt that after you create a motion tween (the head) you can not colour it in so i had to leave it blank so it looks kind of bland.

The stages for my action plan are the following:
.first I want to learn how to do motion tweens which are how to move a graphic from one part of the sequence to another across the screen.

I will post up work in progress for my challenge. I will share what I have produced with others in my class and ask them for feedback.  I will then look at this feedback and review what I have produced and achieved.

Unit 1 Part A

What I think my strengths and weaknesses are:

strengths in media I think my main strength in media is animation i also like doing animation the most and an example of this strength is my own animation that i did and also i think that animation is my strength because it is the most enjoyable thing i do and when i enjoy doing something my brain works better. dosent make any sense but that's the reason.

My main weakness is Video because i dont enjoy it i dont have any enthusiasm to it and i absolutely despise doing anything about video so when i do stuff about it i put no effort into it at all. i dont like because it's to complicated you have to do storyboards work in groups. also you have to describe your story threw video and i prefer written stories if a story form a book is translated onto video their is one exception such as harry potter but all the rest the ruin the written word.

A new challenge

with all the previous work i want to set my self something new and challenging to accomplish using the same basis as flash to create this new thing what i was thinking of doing was creating a charecter in flash and then going a differnet direction by creating a background image in flash none of these images will eb animated but they will just challenge myself to create new things so it progresses me onto the eventual challenge off moving the charecter and having an original background to use in future projects.

for this challenge i will need creativity and the software I have already mentioned will be flash wivh i do have experiance in but all i have done on it is simple aniamtions never original idea i was simply just tracing over htings and moving the eyes I have not yet created an original charecter which i am looking forward to do because it allows me to be creative with the background i am taking it out off a show i am doing that to get adjusted to the scale of an animation background.

Planes paper the trailer

  This is the movie planes paper edited on I movie in comic book style the time is 30 seconds long created from the clips I shot last week to evaluate the project I did not enjoy it and I would not like to do this in the future because my main intrest is not video and if you watch the clip you will see that the group I was in didn't put any effort into the project we just did what we were told to explore video but at the start  of the project i knew I didn't want to do it anyway because I already know what i want to do for the final project and that is animation. so to finish I dint enjoy the project i wouldn't change anything next time I did it expect if we had more time then i would put effort into it but for this I wouldn't change anything and I dont want to do this again in the future

Paper Planes

The video is not well made it's about paper airplanes just crashing into each other that is the main story. and after that they get bombs dropped onto them this is the original footage it's only two clips there are five all together it will a bit decent when we edit it. I dont see doing this in my future.
 (again very badly made no effort)

Green 2

The models were made using a specific type of clay can't remember what it was called but i made a small version of a unusual version of morph. what you do i get the right amounts of clay you want including different colours for this i picked green and pink and the you just make the size you want big, medium or small the just create.  

The animation was made using I stop motion which is a Mac application you can either access it threw the desktop sometimes or do it threw the computer and on I stop motion You set up a camera then get the framing you wish to shoot the animation in place the clay models you previously made where you wish for them to start take the first photo with the red button and then your of and to make them move you simply move the models a small amount and then you click the red button again and you repeat this over and over until you finished for this project the frame work was 12 frames per second what that means is you take 12 tiny movements and that make up a second.

Evaluation-

To start of the project was fun thing thing to do i really enjoyed doing it but to be honest i wouldn't do it again and that is only because i am not that good at it so ide rather pick something I am good at. but i did enjoying having a little of fun with it like making the models it brought me back to my UCA days i got to be creative but i wish i had a little more time to create the models if i was ever to do the project again so i could spend more time on maker a better model but with the result i got i am happy with it and all i would change on would be the colour i made it.

to sum it up i enjoyed the overall project and the end result such as the model turned put good and the video wasent really done probably there was no story or anything it was to green things moving but it tuned out well for what it was it showed that i can still animate clay i say that because last year we learnt how to do it so it was made a little easier this year because of last years experience. but the end result is the same it up to my standerds which is nothing special but finished never the less.

X men poster

To start of thge poster we went onto google to find some images after we decided to do it on one of the x men we decided rogue so we got two pictures of rougue which is on the right side of the screen for our main background.

After we finished the bakgorund and set the images were we wanted them to go i went back on google and got a grunge picture it like a dirty coloured arty background i placed that over both the images using the free transform tool and the went onto the layer right clicked and went on blending options and blended the image so you could still see the first two original layers.

Continuing on from that we picked the title name for the film it was very simple we just called it Rogue after the main charecter fopr this new film poster we were doing then we simply just put the text in picked the font and the colour and done.

Then we had to pick the age restriction for the film so we tresearched the previous ones and decided this would be a PG film what that means is parent Guardian so we went back onto google got the logo, opened that up in photshop removed the background using the bakground remover tool and blended it in a little

to finish it off we also had to come up with a slogan for the film and since in the the last x men film she was in she gave up her powers we chose the slogan she will be reborn picked the last font we used for the title and the same colour blended it and then we finished.

Pop up Cinama

The first picture is me having a go at the camera.

The second picture is me holding two body parts. 

the third picture is me striking a lovely pose.

the forth picture is me and the over actor in my group looking scary.

The pop up film was a fun experience and at first when i heard that we were going on the trip i wasent really expecting to have a good time but once i actually got in to the project i enjoyed dressing up in t6hem zombie costumes and the tie and the hat i loved the hat at the end of the project i war really glad to have been in the zombie film because i seen the SC-FI film and if i got chose for that i wouldn't of really liked it because it looked quite corny so i was really glad that i got chose for that group for the group most of the people in there were very fun to work with they were up for anything but others weren't and that really got everyone else down but we soldiered on and done the film.

the end result was very entertaining overall i really enjoyed the trip there was no bad points in it expect for some of the people in the group but other than that i feel that it went very well and the end results came out good.
