What jobs you can get in the BBC?
At the BBC there are many jobs which you can do, there is a wide range of career paths and you will be able to choose a job which fits you the best. There are 5 different division all with different types of jobs in each of them. The 5 divisions are Content Making, Journalism, New Media and Technology, Business and Support and Commercial Ventures.
There are new jobs which are coming to the BBC every week. The latest job which is going is a Live Events Co-ordinator, Popular music and Radio, The job will have a fixed term contract and it will full time. This means the working hours are around 8 hours per day. You will need to have a experience in operating business/broadcast systems, archive systems and general office IT packages. You will also need to have good teamwork skills and the ability to work with a wide range of colleagues and creating good relationships. The job will be on a 6 month attachment.fixed term contract.
Another job which you could get at the BBC is a production co-ordinator, Gaelic. This job will be located in Glasgow in the United Kingdom. It will be in the TV production sector. It will be full time like the working in the radio and it will be a fixed contract. Doing this job you will have a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working across a range of Children's, Factual, Current Affairs, Events, Music and news content across TV and online. To get this job you will need to have strong organisational skills as wellas the ability to multi task and adjust to changing deadlines. Good team work skills will also be needed and the confidence to deal with higher employee's like senior management.
Changing from TV and radio you can also be a ''Junior Software Engineer''. This job will include helping and educate children of the future. You will work alongside talented people across the BBC to enrich children' lives through the next generation of media. To get a job like this you will need to know how to use Javascript, Html and CSS, you will also need an experience of industry standard engineering tools and techniques and you will have the opportunity to work under the guidance from senior members of the platform development team to know how to code specifications and standards. You will be working full time and it will be a fixed term contract. The job will be located in Salford, in the the UK.

What I got from my research into job opportunities and Visits to Arts Organisations:
I learnt More than i know about a job opportunity and how to get a job previously I was just taught on how to conduct and interview but visits to BBC has really helped understand on what you need to be able to get a job and all the opportunities a simple intern ship as an example can reward you because going to the BBC there is one thing that I learnt from the people I talked to was that experience is always the key factor to getting a higher job opportunity
